Hytec Background:

Hytec began our initial operation in 1981 as a part of Delta Business Systems, Inc., Florida's largest office equipment dealership, as an internal department to offset the rising cost of replacement circuit boards. The operation soon began acquiring ever-increasing interest from other dealerships around the country, and regular shipments of boards to and from these dealers soon followed.

As the business continued to increase, it became evident that an independent company dedicated solely to circuit board repair would best serve the industry needs. In 1985, Daniel Turay, the Corporate Vice President of Service for Delta Business Systems, and Carla Turay purchased the board repair department. From that original department, they started an independent corporation named Hytec Dealer Services, Inc.  Hytec started with Dan, Carla, and only four employees, and has grown to over 100 employees today.  Many of Hytec’s employees have been with us since our inception and those very early years.

Hytec began operations with the goal to deliver the highest quality services at the best prices to save office equipment dealerships time and money.  Since our inception, Hytec was built on the quality of our repairs and professional customer service. Hytec has worked to expand our services and provide innovative solutions to help support the field service operations of our customers.  Hytec has continued to set the standards as the premiere independent circuit board repair center for a wide variety of manufacturers including Canon USA, Toshiba America, Eastman Kodak, Electronics For Imaging, Konica Minolta, Kyocera, OCE, Ricoh, Sharp, and more.

Hytec's business scope now extends not only throughout North America, but also Latin America, Europe and other countries.  Hytec has distribution locations for our Canadian customers in Toronto and Calgary.

In 2002 Hytec moved into our new 50,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility in south Orlando to better serve our customers.  In 2004 Hytec went live with our Oracle-based ERP computer system to better serve our customers and manage the logistics side of our business.  Part of this implementation was the addition of a fully functional web site with live access to our inventory.
