Sales Part Note Canon USA has announced the laser repair program ENDING DATE of 02/25/2014. All repairs eligible for this program need to be completed on or before this date. Hytec will continue to provide normal repairs billed to the customer at regular repair rate.- A completed "Laser Scanner Assembly (FM2-5449) Repair Request Form" must be received with all units intended to be serviced within Canon's laser repair program. Laser Units of revision level -000 and -010 are updated to the latest OEM specification (FM2-5449-020) using NEW, CANON GENUINE laser diode parts. -- Advanced Exchange service may also be used for this Canon Laser program however your dealership will be responsible for normal repair or replacement cost in the event that the unit does not fit within Canon’s guidelines or is deemed unrepairable because of damages found to the unit.
